Citadel Outlets
Los Angeles, California
The Citadel Outlets is a redevelopment of an historic tire manufacturing facility that was originally designed to replicate King Sargon II Palace of Khorsabad. After refurbishing the iconic “palace” wall, the remainder of the 76-acre site has been converted to a mixed-use development including offices, a hotel and a retail outlet center. When the last phase is completed, the 900,000 square foot Citadel Outlets will include over 250 specialty stores and a food court. Designed to recall the architecture of the existing structure built in the 1920’s, the project includes a variety of landscaped courtyards and plazas with retail buildings accented by metal trellises, fabric awnings and Assyrian friezes. This project is a development of Craig Realty Group.
