There’s nothing like getting out in the great outdoors. Grab some hiking boots, a sack lunch, a backpack, and some water, and hit the trail! Once you start, you’ll wonder why you don’t do this more often.

Favorite Hike: Sunset Cliffs Natural Park
Location: Point Loma, San Diego
Why: Close to home and always beautiful

Favorite Hike: Big Pine Creek North Fork Trail
Location: Eastern Sierras
Why: The trail leads up to the seven gorgeous Big Pine Lakes in addition to the rocky peak of Temple Crag. Palisade Glacier is visible throughout the climb with jagged peaks as a backdrop and Kings Canyon National Park lies beyond. It has an elevation gain of 3,982 ft.
